Richard Kružík - 1.violin

   Richard Kruzik studied violin playing with S.Tomasek, B.Kotmel at the Brno Conservatory and R.Stastny at the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts. His violin education was completed at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien under J.Pospichal. He took part in several Masterclasses (with V.Hudecek, A.Moravec in Weirkersheim and Pommersfelden). Richard has been playing solo concerts with chamber orchestras, working for the Brno Philharmonic and also became one of the founding members of the Matys Quartet. In 2006 he performed W.A.Mozart's string quintets in Wien with the Janacek Quartet and recorded solo Suite for violin of J.Matys for the Czech Radio Broadcast. Since 2003 he has been teaching violin at the Brno Conservatory and leading the Moravian Chamber Orchestra (the 1st prize at the Concerto Bohemia Competition).
